1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HomeLink ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. HomeLink reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

HomeLink is an online real estate platform that connects property buyers, renters, sellers, and real estate agencies across Malta and Gozo. The Platform provides property listings, search tools, and communication features to facilitate real estate transactions.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

4. Property Listings

Users who list properties must ensure that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and not misleading. HomeLink does not verify the accuracy of listings and is not responsible for errors or omissions in property descriptions, prices, or images. Listings that violate these terms or applicable laws may be removed without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to post false or misleading listings, harass other users, infringe upon intellectual property rights, distribute malware or spam, or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws of Malta or the European Union.

6. Fees and Payments

Certain services on the Platform may require payment. All fees are stated in Euros and are subject to applicable VAT. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Refund policies are outlined at the time of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to logos, design, text, and software, is the property of HomeLink or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

HomeLink acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any transaction between users. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of properties listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of parties to complete a transaction. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. Termination

HomeLink may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
